Contemplative & Silent Retreats
Our evolving planet speaks to us of the myriad possibilities of ways that our Creator inspires, supports, and lifts us into our true selves. Seeking relationship with God through time apart in nature is a time-tested way of spiritual seeking. At Mountain Light Retreat, this seeking is supported through the supporting presence of a retreat director, who will welcome seekers to the Retreat and provide a beginning and ending reflection to day retreats. Day retreats begin at 9 AM and end at 3 PM. Bring a lunch and water bottle, and pray for the blessing of time spent listening for God.

Area spiritual directors of various traditions are available in the area, and may be scheduled ahead of time during your silent or contemplative retreat. Just ask Debbie for some possibilities.
-
Be present to God through a small group experience of spiritual exercises, such as those offered by Shalem Institute founder Tilden Edwards. Small group exercises may be scheduled for groups desiring retreat together on the Mountain Light property, either at the church or the cottage. Retreat leaders who wish to schedule their own offering may contact Debbie for scheduling and arrangements.
